Before studying with McArthur Online Training I was registered with another similar and well-known provider that was not able to deliver as I expected. I was looking for a structured course with video lessons and a good explanation of concepts as well as a few exam preparation tips. McArthur Online Training was able to deliver just that and more.

Initially enrolled for Level 2 after being made redundant in 2019. Being a single mum, online learning was the only option.

I started my AAT Level 4 training with McArthur Online in January 2022, I was immediately contacted by Emma and Jon to explain the process of how the website worked which made me feel comfortable straight away. The videos Jon produces are easy to follow and extremely useful. I was sent all the materials and workbooks needed which followed all the videos. The website is easy to use and when it came to revision all the materials provided were useful.

When I struggled or needed advice Jon was quick to respond and clear things up. Emma was super helpful when I would come with a barrage of questions and always came back to me quickly. Overall, I have been super happy with my experience with McArthur online and would definitely recommend them.

I completed both Levels 3 & 4 with Merits. The online lectures are great, the downloadable practice question workbooks are very helpful, but most of all, McArthur Online feels very human.

For Level 2, my old training provider lacked human contact, and didn’t really clear up my questions. The video lectures with McArthur Online are much easier to learn from, and Jon talks about things in much more detail but with easy to understand examples. Plus, having a tutor as a direct contact, who actually responds with detailed answers to my email queries, has been essential.

On completion of Level 4 in 2021, I got a new job as a Management Accountant for a Digital Marketing Agency – thanks to the subjects learnt at AAT.

I could not have asked for a better training provider than McArthur Online. Jon’s clear and concise videos made learning new topics a breeze. Distance learning provided great flexibility, but at the same time, if I ever had any questions, Emma would always reply promptly and with all the information I needed.

I have now completed my AAT Qualifications with McArthur Online and couldn’t be happier with my outcome. After starting out with a few Level 2 classes, I purchased the Accounting Bundle for Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.

In school, even at university, no-one, least of all I, would have thought that I would ever be interested in studying accountancy. Thanks to McArthur Online, accounting turned out to be something I actually like!

Having done Levels 2, 3 and 4 with McArthur Online, I doubt that I would have been able to complete this qualification if I had to go to a classroom at fixed times and rely on whatever notes I managed to scribble down on one hearing. Having completed Level 2, 3 and 4 with first time passes and attaining MAAT Status, I would recommend McArthur Online to anybody thinking to start their AAT studies. The lectures are clear and concise, focusing on the information you need, and not overloading you with information at any time.

I found the past exam paper debriefs particularly useful as you feel prepared for each exam and have a good idea of what to expect and the format of each exam. The distance learning provides you with great flexibility to study when best for you, combined with the quick responses from Emma and Jon if you are ever stuck really makes them a great provider!

Having completed level 2 and 3 with another provider with work I was looking for a provider to study level 4. The course fees and payment options were a great option as I was self funding and I think it’s really good that there’s no time limit on completing the course unlike other providers.

I spent a lot of time talking with Emma about the course structure and optional units before booking. Emma was lovely and would check in. Jon was happy to answer questions and came back to me quickly. I found the videos really helpful and similar to the learning style I had before. Pleased to say I passed with an overall Merit of 89% and now hold MAAT status. I’m very grateful for their support and encouragement.

Having no experience of working in accountancy I wanted a training provider who would be straightforward and knowledgeable. I found McArthur Online genuinely cared, and were flexible to my individual circumstances and needs.

I found I was able to revise for my exams solely from the recordings, alongside practicing past papers. I achieved Level 3 working to a timetable, and then pushed on to Level 4 achieving an overall Distinction, even getting 100% in my MDCL module.
