I have completed all three Levels of AAT Bookkeeping courses with McArthur Online. I enjoyed the flexibility of studying at my own pace, especially that I work full time and have two young children. McArthur Online provided me with the recorded tutorials but also with the studying materials from Kaplan. The recordings were easy to follow and Jon often adds his own comments to make things clearer. He has even added some extra sessions with extra examples for the subjects that students often find challenging.

Jon is available if you have any questions, he replies to emails within a few minutes. Throughout my years of studying with McArthur Online I have only messaged Jon a couple of times as I found the tutorials very straightforward. I have passed all my exams at the first attempt which also proves that at McArthur’s they know what students need and how to make accountancy knowledge accessible and transparent

The content was so easy to follow and the support I had when needed/when struggling was so helpful. I haven’t studied since leaving school (many years ago!) and when I started the course I wondered if I would ever grasp it – but the way the videos talk through each subject made it easy to work through each subject and understand it.

I have completed both AAT Level 2 and 3 Bookkeeping with McArthur Online and highly recommend them.

Emma and Jon are very friendly and helpful, they both respond almost immediately to any queries and Jon was happy to chat through a practice question that I needed more help on.

The tutorial sessions are easy to follow and understand. If I decide to study further then I will definitely do so with McArthur Online!

After I had completed my Level 2 thanks to the excellent training and advice from McArthur, it was an easy decision to go for my Level 3 Advanced Bookkeeping with them also. Once again the instructional videos were easy to follow and made learning a joy. That, coupled with the fantastic support provided meant I worked through and passed my Level 3 fuss free.

Now I am very happy to say I work in accounting, and am loving it! I highly recommend McArthur Online Training! 

I was searching for an AAT provider that had a user-friendly website, provided hardcopy resources, and flexible video-based learning – McArthur Online ticked all the boxes! Having no knowledge or background of bookkeeping/accounting before, I felt nervous starting and worried I wouldn’t understand anything but Jon’s excellent, comprehensible teaching style made the course seem super easy!

Being able to re-watch recordings over and over again was so helpful as well as having lots of practice questions to do. I would definitely recommend McArthur Online to anyone!  I completed Level 2 Bookkeeping in 3 months and Level 3 Bookkeeping within 5 months.

I have recently completed Level 3 in Bookkeeping and I don’t think I could have done it without McArthur Online. As a mum of 3 young children I needed something flexible and the online lectures were perfect for me. I could access them anytime and as many times as I needed.

Jon’s lessons are easy to follow and he explains everything very clearly. All my queries have always been answered almost instantly and in friendly manner. If I choose to take my studies further and carry on, I will 100% come back to McArthur and would definitely recommend for anyone thinking about starting their AAT journey. 

I have just completed AAT Level 3 in bookkeeping with McArthur Online and would highly recommend them. The learning platform is easily accessible and user-friendly, with everything explained clearly.

It was easy to balance my studies with work as the portal can be accessed anywhere. I was especially grateful to be supplied with exam kit question books as they really helped to consolidate my learning.

After an initial discussion with Emma, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to start with the level two bookkeeping qualification and after completion move on to level three, which I have now also completed.

Both courses were very well put together from start to finish and Jon explains the content thoroughly and completely. There were times when I thought that I was going to struggle to understand certain elements, but Jon has this really unique ability of being able to explain things in such a way that you just get it. This is something that I have not experienced before.

I did email through a few questions now and then and he responded very quickly. However, most of the time I managed to find the answer to my questions by just watching the recording, or part of the recording again, or by reading the relevant section of the workbook again, which also has useful notes written on it.

I have now completed both AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Bookkeeping with McArthur Online and am still very happy with their tutelage.

I enjoy working through these courses at my own pace and the videos and other materials provided allow me to do just that. The tutor in the videos will usually give examples or explain complicated things in a simpler way to try and help with understanding. And is also easily contacted if you require more clarification on anything.

I passed my Level 3 Bookkeeping with a Distinction and will most certainly continue using McArthur Online when I study further with Level 3 Accounting.

I would like to recommend McArthur Online to anyone who is looking to study AAT online.  The courses are well structured, broken down into smaller sections, which makes it very easy to understand and follow.

The tutor explains topics in the best possible way, he answers any questions and gives practical advice on which qualification to complete next.
On top of that, you also receive printed materials and exam kits with questions to practice. All members of the staff are very professional and helpful. Emma answers emails promptly and is always available to help. They go out of their way to make sure you succeed and achieve your set goals.

I can’t thank them enough for all their support. After gaining the certificates and knowledge I quickly found the job I was hoping for!
